"Don't try to take the tape off yourself. Let whoever is going to buy the book have the tape removed by a restoration professional. The book is already restored and it's very low grade, so it shouldn't impact the value much if the book is restored. It's better to leave it to the buyer to hire a restoration professional remove any tape. Just don't try to do it yourself or you could make a real mess of things. Also, the bleed through is from amateur color touch on the cover — trust me. There is no way the interior page inks bled onto the cover there. As I said, it shouldn't impact the value all that much (and maybe even not at all since the book is an Apparent FR 1.0 grade), but you should still amend your auction description to point out the fact that the book has some restoration. You'll avoid any problems with the potential buyer that way. Even if it is restored, it's still an amazing book – one of the best books there is to own

"On Nov-06-06 at 13:28:34 PST, seller added the following information:

"One more thing — don't sell the book privately, off ebay. There are enough people looking at this book on ebay that you're better off waiting for the auction to end. Even if it is restored, you're still going to get a lot of money for this book.
