I am auctioning off four classic bicycle-themed comic keys on eBay, with 100% of every dollar going directly to cancer research through the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
A couple of weeks ago, I wrapped up PMC Unpaved—a grueling, beautiful ride across the gravel roads of western Massachusetts. But while the ride is finished, our mission isn't: our fundraising campaign remains open through November 2nd.
This cause is deeply personal to me. My wife and my mom are both cancer survivors today because of the breakthrough clinical care and research pioneered at Dana-Farber, and I rode every mile in memory of my uncle Ronnie. One of the best things about the PMC is that 100% of all rider-raised funds go straight to cancer research and treatment.
To close out the campaign, I’m putting four unique bicycle-themed comic keys up for charity auction:
Batman #29 (CGC 6.0): The legendary 1945 Dick Sprang cover featuring Batman and Robin riding a high-wheeler penny-farthing bicycle.
The Flash #152 (CGC 9.4): A blazing high-grade Silver Age copy of Carmine Infantino's iconic bicycle race cover.
Heroic Comics #56 (CGC 8.5): A scarce, hilarious Golden Age bicycle cover.
Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #15 (Raw VG): A classic 1956 reading copy featuring Jimmy on a bike.
100% of the proceeds from every single auction go straight into my official PMC Rider account.
Whether you're bidding on a piece of comic history or backing the miles directly with a donation, thank you for helping us bring a cure closer by the mile.
