Here's a Frightening eBay Listing to Start the Week Off! Superman #1 in "Acceptable" Condition

Superman #1 CGC 7.5 (R) 1939 – Mega key Golden Age! Great Investment! M6 513 cm | eBay

Starting bid of $5,000 from a 4 feedback seller. I don't think the seller even knows what "CGC 7.5 (R)" means- they just copied it from this listing.

Someone out there will bid on it, though. If it were somehow real and somehow actually ended up in your inbox after you paid, it'd be a $100,000+ book. I think the odds of it being real (and not a Famous First Edition) are astronomical, but that's not going to stop someone from trying to get a major score.

And yes, I'm going to email the seller to see if I can get measurements on the book…
