According to GPA, the last time a CGC 9.0 sold in public auction was for $33,333 in August '09. (Though another 9.0 sold more recently on a private website for $37,500!)
With X-men: First Class (centered around the origin of the X-men and Magneto) due to hit Theaters in 2012, this comic is about to get hot! And with Wolverine 2 and X-men 4 already in the planning stages after that, the X-men franchise looks like it will continue to be in the spotlight for years to come. With the 1st appearance of Spider-man already selling for well over 6 figures in similar grade, the value of this book has nowhere to go but up!
