There are less that 10 Superman #1's in the ENTIRE WORLD BETTER THAN THIS BOOK. It is a national treasure!!!
I have every single record of the ownership of this book, it was sold by Heritage Auction Galleries in May 2007, I bought it in the summer of 2008.
The restoration on this book is MINIMAL, in fact, this book should have never been restored, it would have easily been a 5+ CGC unrestored.
The restoration includes the following –
A very small piece added to the cover.
Spine splits sealed to cover and the centerfold reinforced.

It is easily one of the best superman books in the world!! I have personally seen 3 Superman books that were graded CGC 7+, this book is by far the best. The color is crisp and the book is very tight.
