"At the time of this writing, the CGC Census reports that this copy is tied with five others at its grading tier and that four others have been graded higher (one at 9.4, three at 9.2, and six at 9.0), marking it as being tied as the fifth highest graded example of this issue that CGC has reviewed. While this is one of the top ten unrestored, Universal Grade copies that CGC has ever reviewed, the book's white page quality makes it far more desirable than most of its peers at the same grade level. To some collectors it may be even more appealing than one of the four higher graded examples, if those leaders demonstrate inferior page quality. This is a magnificent investment grade example, the nicest we have handled during the last five years, including the White Mountain copy."
