I'm in the middle of a bid data update, so this isn't in any of my lists yet, but it will be soon and will be conspicuous for being the second biggest Silver Age sale we've ever seen.

My Collection A-Z: Astro City #2 CGC 9.6

I've got to upgrade this one!
My Collection A-Z: Astro City #1 CGC 9.8

I'm targeting Astro City to get the #1 registry set. I'm also targeting Fables. Those are two of my favorite series from the past 20 years.

My Collection A-Z: William Gibson's Archangel #1 CGC 9.8

As with yesterday, I also have art from this book– Archangel – Rob Larsen's Original Comic Art Gallery at ComicArtFans.com
This is a great series. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm a big collector of William Gibson's books, so getting some of these graded was a no-brainer. I haven't mentioned it, but many of the books in my collection are books that I myself graded.
My Collection A-Z: Annihilation Conquest #6 CGC 9.8 1st new Guardians of the Galaxy

1st new Guardians of the Galaxy. I love this book. I have original art from the book, as well
Here's a Frightening eBay Listing to Start the Week Off! Superman #1 in "Acceptable" Condition
Superman #1 CGC 7.5 (R) 1939 – Mega key Golden Age! Great Investment! M6 513 cm | eBay
Starting bid of $5,000 from a 4 feedback seller. I don't think the seller even knows what "CGC 7.5 (R)" means- they just copied it from this listing.
Someone out there will bid on it, though. If it were somehow real and somehow actually ended up in your inbox after you paid, it'd be a $100,000+ book. I think the odds of it being real (and not a Famous First Edition) are astronomical, but that's not going to stop someone from trying to get a major score.
And yes, I'm going to email the seller to see if I can get measurements on the book…
My Collection A-Z: American Flagg #1 CGC 9.8

One of my favorite series from the 1980s, Chaykin's American Flagg is one of those series I would love to collect as a full CGC run. I suspect it would be nearly impossible to put together. These comics were read and the print runs were relatively limited for the time. I'd have to get lucky and buy a collection with a high grade run in it, or something, because individual copies and even runs on eBay aren't likely to provide great copies. Fact: if books have been churning in dollar bins and white boxes for more than 30 years they are tough to find in high grade.
