Captain America Comics #1 San Francisco Pedigree (Timely, 1941) ????????????????????????????
I haven't done much writing here recently. I've been super busy with other things (losing and then gaining a job, mostly) so I've been just posting books and art to keep the place alive until I can get back to data and writing. I'm at that point now, thankfully. I'll have a lot to digest and discuss, that's for sure.
With results like this the estimates I wrote up just a few months ago, in the wake of the AF #15 sale, seem quaint. The results over the past couple of years have been insane and things have moved so quickly it's really tough to keep up. I will do my best to catch up, even if I couldn't keep up with the pace of things.

A FF 1 9.2 just sold on Heritage for $1.5MM (with juice). That's lighthouse's find, BTW. Long time, mi amigo.

Hey Dan! Yeah, that's another result that throws everything out of the window. If a 9.2 FF #1 sells for 1.5 million, what do the 9.6s sell for? $5,000,000? $6,000,000? What does that do to AF 15? It's all crazy.
