Heritage Sells Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 9.6 for $3,600,000, a New World Record for a Comic Book

I'll have more on this result later, as I gather my thoughts about what it means for the top of the market as a whole, but it fell right in the middle of the range I'd landed on a few weeks ago. It took a bit of nudging to get over the line, but it made it and set a new record for any comic book ever sold. I thought it had a shot at $4,000,00 but didn't quite have the legs. I'm interested to see if ComicConnect has a surprise up their sleeves to take the record back. We can only dream!
