Yes, it's more Janson than Miller. Who cares? It's still a page from one of the best runs on the title and one of the most influential runs of all time. Sure, it won't go for as much as a page that was more Miller than Janson, but that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve a bit of spotlight,

The Betty and Veronica #1 is a nice copy but I don't especially care for the seller's "Top Two Grade" description. I know the meaning is caveated (poorly) in the description but with four issues graded higher (9.0, 8.5 and two 7.5s), I just don't like it.
I would like to think this copy could go as high as $1,500 but that seems aggressive. B&V seems to have cooled somewhat given appropriate attention paid to Pep #22 and Archie #1 but hopefully I am wrong.

Good call on the wording. I hadn't noticed that.
Still, it is a nice copy. We'll see how it goes.

Sold for $1,136. Seems reasonable though I would have liked to have seen it go for a bit more.
What did you think of the Archie #1 (5.0) selling for $35K on the ComicConnect auction a few days ago? Seems a strong price given the 7.0 selling for $38K two years ago.

I really owe a big wrap-up of this year's year-end auctions. The Archie #1 was a strong result.
