I should point out, I valued this one correctly when it was announced.
And just like that, we have a new record and the 3rd seven figure sale. A remarkable month.
With this stake in the ground, the questions start to form- what's the Allentown Detective #27 worth? The Church Action #1? My gut says $2,500,00 and $3,000,000 respectively.
I really need to rework the top ten article, don't I? When I wrote that I had the Church book valued at $2,000,000, the Allentown 'Tec #27 at 1.5 million and this book at $800,000. Times have changed!

Nicely done on the $1.5 million estimate. I would like to think that the Church Action #1 is closer to $5 million given its top condition and the Church prestige but I may be getting carried away given all these high profile sales.

I'd like to think so, but I'm always trying to err on the side of caution. My gut wants it to be worth the moon and the stars, after all. Would it surprise me if it sold for 5 million if it were ever offered for sale? Not at all. Especially in light of this past month.

Should continue to be an interesting spring and summer for GA. Hard to believe this all won't bring some additional high end books out of the woodwork to test the market.

I'm really excited for just that. Maybe not another 5 high grade Action #1s and Detective #27s, but more books like the Flash Comics #1 might change hands. It could be a ton of fun – especially if a few hidden gems surface.
