Considering the 9.0s both sold for around $200,000 the last time around, the idea of the 8.5 going for $280k is a little hard to swallow.
Obviously, with a book like that there can be more than meets the eye. A lot of times people list books like that at high levels as a sort of advertisement to get people into the sales cycle or to remind prospective buyers that the book is out there and is available. That's probably a large part of what's going on here.
It's still a high price though…
