The book really speaks for itself……only minimal spine stress keep it from grading higher. (G-d forbid someone in the past may have actually READ it!) The PQ is fantastic….supple, newsstand fresh, sweet smelling 1960's pulp! The best thing about this copy is what it does not have: no tears, writing, marvel chipping, color breaking creases, stains, spine splits, and my all time favorite condition flaw…..no rat chew! Both staples are rust free and firmly hold the cover on. The spine is solid and tight. The edges are sharp. The cover inks are deep and rich, with white whites, and the cover maintains much of its original gloss. The comic is flat and structually superior to most copies I have seen. The book is just back from CGC, and the holder is in perfect condition. The pics have not been enhanced, brightened or altered.
