You are bidding on a true, rare gem of the Silver Age era – Showcase #4, the first appearance of the Flash!
This book is pretty special – according to the CGC Census, this is the only copy in certified FIne (6.0) condition. And there's less than 20 in unrestored condition above FIne – far fewer than Amazing Fantasy #15!
The CGC number is 0635098001 and it has a Universal grade of FIne, 6.0 (off-white pages). This is really a beautiful copy and anyone would be happy to own this piece of history. The current guide value of this book is $7000 but my reserve is a lot less than that.
