FRANK FRAZETTA ORIGINAL PAINTED ART – SHI – COVER

Winning bid: US $19,999.99 Seller: crusadefinearts( 108)

Description:

This is the original Frank Frazetta painted cover for the Shi Senryaku Hardbound and TPB editions. It's a prized possesion, but since I've got my eye on two other things I REALLY, REALLY want, (well one is for the very deserving wife) and feel that perhaps I should let it go to another collector. For years people have asked me about the cover and besides, I'll always retain the bragging rights that Frank did a cover for me, and immortilzed my character for all time. The piece has been done in classic Frazetta watercolor. Frank made her costume very subtle but due to printing we "punched" up the red a bit for the cover at the time. Looking back, I like his approach better. The artwork has been in a gold leaf frame since 1995 under UV protected glass. It measures about 9" X 12" and is just beautiful! If any of you are interested, please email me. Again, this is not a prelim but a real painted original cover. Please contact us before bidding if you have any questions. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!! Thanks! Crusade Fine Arts is the Official Seller of all Authentic Shi merchandise, books, lithographs, posters and original art.
