Superman #1 (DC,1939 CGC Apparent VG/FN 5.0 Extensive (P) Off-white Pages. The origin of Superman is presentd in dramatic fashion in this inagural issue. One of the most desirable comic book issues ever published and also one of the toughest finds in high grade. In fact, if one considers a high grade comic to be 8.0 or nicer CGC has only certified only one unrestored, high grade copy to date. That means there just aren't many better-looking copies than this offering. CGC notes, "restoration includes: color touch, pieces added, tear seals, cover cleaned, reinforced and 1/2 front cover is a color copy"
