"Relisted due to a non-paying bidder. A glossy, off-white to white paged, Guaranteed Unrestored #1 with brilliant off-the-press colors, snowy cover whites and no cover transparency/translucence. Just several, very slight transverse spine stresses that didn't break the color and the tiniest bit of flaking on the green band at the bottom located on the apex of the spine only (flake line) where the book was opened. Near perfect overflash at the top with absolutely NO CHIPPING on any edges and near perfect, SQUARE corners. The "ever so slightly" greensih hue imparted on the image in the blue areas towards the central regions of the cover are being greatly magnified by scanner artifact, the book-in-hand having a beautiful, fresh "sky"-blue coloration that is the hallmark trait of Spiderman 1 Pedigree-type books that have been optimally stored through the decades. There is a light printing streak in the green area directly under the Thing which I took into consideration in the grading of this book, dropping it from a solid NM- to a very high end VF/NM (VF/NM+). This is on the surface of the paper, incurred in the inks and the cover paper is NOT scored, printing creased or folded, etc. at that point. The back cover is near flawless and totally indicative of 9.4 books.
