As I wrote when this auction was announced, I think the Batman #1 CGC 9.2 is a $1,000,000 book by itself so this result seems pretty strong to me. I've been a fan of this book (1st Catwoman! 1st Joker!) for many years, so I'm personally pleased to see such a strong result. For context, this is the 2nd highest price ever paid for a comic book and is nearly $1,000,000 more than the $1,260,000.00 paid for a Marvel Comics #1 CGC 9.4 in 2019.
