The Marvel Comics #1 Windy City pedigree CGC NM 9.4 lot went for $1,260,000.00 at Heritage earlier today. This is the 5th most ever paid for a comic in a public venue and it's the highest price ever paid for a comic at Heritage. I think it's a good result. I was hoping to see this book break the million dollar and it did so by a comfortable margin. After a couple of near misses, we've finally got a new title added to the $1,000,000 club, with Marvel Comics #1 joining Action Comics #1, Amazing Fantasy #15 and Detective Comics #27.
