This week is all about DC. Why? Because I'm now all about DC, currently.
These things happen.
Batman #121 CGC 5.5 VINTAGE DC Comic KEY 1st Mr. Freeze (Mr. Zero) Detective
This is a great book. It's early silver age and it features the villain right there on the cover (freezing people even.) What more could you want?
DETECTIVE COMICS # 32 CGC 4.0 FIRST TIME A HERO (BATMAN) USES A GUN IN COMICS!
Batman's gun era. That was a thing. I'm fuzzy on the timeline of when he stopped using guns and when it became canon that he was anti-gun. I'm pretty sure it was within the first couple of years. Which actually makes sense if you think about Batman Year 2 which is all guns all the time on the covers. I ought to read these early books at some point. I never have.
Flash Comics #86 (D.C. Comics) CGC 2.5 GD+ 1st Appearance of Black Canary Key
If I were in the market for this book, the copy I would buy would look just like this. Someone ought to buy it.
DETECTIVE COMICS 128 CGC 7.5 WHITE ~ TOP JOKER CVR ~ BATMAN 23 37 55 ~ ONLY 1
Joker covers. They've always been a thing. I wonder what it would take to put together a complete set of Joker covers.
Batman #37 CGC 3.0 VINTAGE DC Detective Comic Joker Cover & App Golden Age 10c
Speaking of Joker covers, why have one Joker face when you can have three?
