Five For Friday: Scary Moderns for You Old Curmudgeons

Get off my lawn!

Batman #608 DC 2002 -MINT- CGC 9.8 NM/MT – Retailer Edition – Signed by Jim Lee!

Nearly $5,000 and it's not even listed as an "RRP." I'd say I messed up and didn't buy one of these all those years ago when it was (gasp!) $500, but I'd then have to admit that I end up selling books anyway… Still, I've always loved this book.

Marvel Age 41 CGC 8.0 signed by Stan Lee Photo Cover Stan Lee Label

I haven't actually researched this, but… is this the most valuable Marvel Age ever? There's probably a 9.8 of this book or something. Still $200+

NYX #3 Marvel Comics 2004 CGC 9.8 1st Appearance of X-23 X-MEN

I did in fact own copies of this book when it was $50-100. I did also sell them! I do that. At this point I've owned a lot of books and own a lot less (which is still 400+ CGC graded books… sigh.) This is still a great book.
