The Flash book has stalled. $155,350.00 is a magnificent amount of money for a comic book, but I really want to see this book sell for something north of 200k.
The low grade Detective 27 is currently at 50k. I'm seriously interested to see where that one will end up. Just like the recent Action #1 these low grade unrestored copies set a great bottom bar for the major keys and are supremely useful for me in setting price points. As an example- I'm going to put every unrestored Action #1 above GD in the $100,000 club.
The hot book? I think it's going to be the Marvel Mystery Comics #9. Even I'm excited about that one.
How about you?

$107k for the 9.4 MM #9… not bad at all. A very, very nice book. I actually think it is nicer than the 9.6 Showcase. Slight rounding of the bottom right corner the only thing keeping it from 9.6+ territory IMO.
$179k for the Showcase #4. Hmmm… is this really the nicest copy of this book in the world? Would love to compare it to the 9.4. IMO this book was slightly over-graded (spine creases, top left edge overhang damage, plus I noticed a few other minor defects), but it's still a beauty no doubt. I wouldn't have paid that much for it though.
$83k for the Detective #27 was a fantastic price. A total shame the cover is split with that beautiful off-white to white page quality. Unreal that there are only 20 or so unrestored copies of Detective #27 in the world… same goes for the MM #9. If I had a choice though , I would take this book (D27) over the other two without a second thought.
Thanks for pointing them out Rob!

I'm with you on the Tec 27 versus the two other books. All day I'll take the Detective 27.
It's interesting because with the recent results of this book and the Action #1 in 1.8, the bar for 6 figures on both books looks to be around 2.0, unrestored.
The Showcase 4 was a "9.5" that fell on the side of 9.6, so the result is basically what you'd expect. I would like to have seen the number drive it higher but at that level people are hopefully going to be more discerning.
