Rory Root, Overstreet Adviser and owner of Comic Relief out in Berkley, CA passed away tonight. I was following the story on Twitter and got the news right before sitting down to dinner. I've been bummed since (even with watching Red Sox pitcher John Lester pitching a no-hitter.) I only interacted with him a couple of times online, but those were cool interactions and beyond that no one I know who knew him had a bad word to say about him. Comic Relief has always been one of those shops that I wanted to visit on my travels. He was one of the good ones and he'll be missed.
