This is an original THOR illustration by comics legend Walter Simonson (The Mighty Thor), which was donated to our ROM tribute show – SPACENITE: A TRIBUTE TO BILL MANTLO. All proceeds from the auction go toward the medical care of Bill Mantlo, who suffered severe brain damage and loss of motor functions after a hit and run accident in 1992.
This is a gift from Walter to benefit our Bill Mantlo fundraiser. In addition to the ROM piece he donated, Walt also created this brand new illustration of the character he is most famous for, THE MIGHTY THOR. Like the ROM tribute art, it brings some of our favorite stories from the past back to life. What a treat for THOR and Simonson fans alike. The drawing is on 14'x17' 2 ply Bristol board. It will be shipped flat and securely in a protected package.
