Krazy Kat is sitting with a small umbrella next to a desert highway at night. Offisa Pupp inquires about a nearby spotlight, and Krazy explains that " IGNATZ MICE" wants him to "TOIN IT ON SO THAT HE CAN SEE TO TOSS ME A NICE ' SIPPRISE' L'IL DOLLIN". Faithful Offisa Pupp cuts the power lines, but the ever devious Ignatz resorts to using glow worms led by "GENERAL GLOWERM" and his troops. Pupp exits the scene, exclaiming " MAYBE IT'S A VICTORY GARDEN- AND HOW CAN I ARREST HIM FOR THAT -". The glow worms light up the night sky while Krazy slumbers as a brick drops towards his head. The bottom panel has Ignatz looking at his large shadow from a spotlight. Art is unsigned, as were many from the early 1940's, but is by cartoonist and creator George Herriman. Well drawn with some wonderful cross hatching . CONDITION : Art is Clean and Excellent, complete with King Features Syndicate copyright sticker ! A choice example with hand drawn logo, a brick gag and all three main characters from one of the greatest humor comic strips in history !"
