Here's the Description:
"JOHN ROMITA – Original Artwork for Page 8, from THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN No. 44, Marvel Comics, January of 1967, pen and ink with brush on paper, signed by the artist in ink on the lower middle right outside margin, this page represents a milestone in the history of the Spider-Man saga, where the origin of the Lizard is retold (and John Romita in so doing pays homage to Steve Ditko's original Splash page artwork design for The Amazing Spider-Man No. 6 in the top panoramic panel), it features Spider-Man in action in five of the six panels, and it features Spider-Man in all six panels, from Romita's greatest period of work for this comic character (it was only the sixth issue of The Amazing Spider-Man that Romita had done since taking over the title from Steve Ditko with issue #39), this is one of the finest single pages of Romita's Spider-Man artwork I have ever had the opportunity to sell (including my days at Sotheby's) and it represents a Golden opportunity for Silver Age Art collectors, CONDITION is FINE- with use of white-out throughout the six panels, tape-overlay to bottom right panel (which could be easily removed and cleaned), outside margins are 1/2", top title stamp apparent, slight notes in pencil to bottom margin, image size 18 1/2" high x 12 1/2" wide, unmatted. Auction Estimate $10,000 to $15,000 (1 item)"
