"BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL SUNDAY PEANUTS by CHARLES M. SCHULZ, January 10, 1988. The actual pen and ink published original art (you can feel the raised ink, see the white out). This is from the personal collection of a longtime Minnesota comics historian and was sent to this collector after a luncheon that he helped put together for a rare travel visit of Schulz to Minnesota back in 1992 for the grand opening of Camp Snoopy at the Mall of America. Minnesota diehard comic fans and cartoonists 80 strong welcomed Schulz to Minnesota. The piece is also personalzied "For Dave with friendship and much appreciation – Charles M. Schulz (Sparky)" in marker.

Great gag featuring Snoopy and Linus with appearance by Lucy in final panel, and lots of little foreign legion birds. Immaculate and rare. A choice treasure for any serious collector's collection.
Art sized roughly 17"x24" and from January 10, 1988. Art is on cream-colored strathmore boards. I have a photo of the page, four details of the page from my scanner — showing white-outs, that the logo is a paste-up, and details, and a pasted together photocopy of the art showing the Sunday complete and the gag readable. Slight bend-dentation in upper left panel before logo. Syndicate production stamp is on the back. "
