I really should finish this off, don't you think? Maybe next time I'll crank through this a little quicker.
Hopalong Cassidy #1 Vancouver pedigree (Fawcett, 1943) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white to white pages. Twenty grand. What more needs to be said?
Jumbo Comics #1 (Fiction House, 1938) Condition: Qualified VG/FN. Awesome book.
I'm a broken record. I love Planet Comics.
Do people even know what a broken record is any more?
Startling Comics #49 (Better Publications, 1948) CGC NM 9.4 Cream to off-white pages. A magical cover. I know I link to one of these every time there's one listed, but I'm drawn to it like flames and moths.
SO MANY books are RNM.
Torchy #5 (Quality, 1950) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white pages. Torchy, indeed.
Five Mad #1s including a 9.6 and 9.8.
John Byrne and Klaus Janson – Wolverine #20, page 25 Original Art (Marvel, 1990) Not the best combination I've ever seen. I was SO bummed with the art when it hit the shelves.
Virgil Finlay – Woman Combing Her Hair Illustration Original Art (1935) Don't sleep on Finlay. That's some beautiful work right there.
Creig Flessel – "Harlan Ellison's Dream Corridor" Cover Concept Original Art (1996) Yeah. Same guy.
Jose Gonzalez – Audrey Hepburn Portrait Montage Original Art (2005). Gorgeous work.
Jeff Jones – Cavemen Illustration Original Art (undated) Jeff Jones is pretty good.
Yeah, pretty good.
Jack Kirby did a lot of comics. Someone must have tallied up the number of comics pages he did in his career. I'd love to know that number.
I'll finish this up tomorrow. cereally.
