Here's the description:
"
This is an original hand drawn comic art pen & ink over the first pencil sketch -this is NOT a Xerox copy or reprint in any form, but the ORIGINAL pen & ink drawing on thick art paper, drawn by some famous DC Comics artist's, Carmine Infantino did the pencils & Murphy Anderson definitely inked this, even though there is a ? mark after his name in the GCD Database.
This is The Flash # 133 – the story title is PLIGHT OF THE PUPPET-FLASH! we have The Flash in costume just as he is being turned into a puppet by Abra Kadabra, the villain a magician, wonderful art by some great artists and silver age too!
What more can you ask for besides the a copy of the actual comic book?, a good copy of #133 is included.
Then on the back is a pencil drawing of The Flash's wing on his ear, probably by Infantino.
This series of comic books began in 1959 with issue #105 and ended with #350 in 1985.
This is from issue #133 from the 1959 Series – DC, December 1962, coverprice 0.12 , 36 pages total and a copy of the comic book is shown & included in the auction.
– the size of the art is 12 1/2" wide X 18 1/4" tall (approx) on a piece of art paper about 15 1/4" X 22".
This is in GREAT COLLECTOR condition – — it is almost exactly as shown in the photo (that is the whole page and the second set of reduced size photos), so paper color is a light cream to me BUT THE STAINS YOU SEE ARE NOT THAT DARK – I THINK THEY ARE FROM THE GLUE USED, I show a photo of the entire cover and some scans to show you a little better and then a scan of the comic book to show you how they colored it — a very rare collectible fine piece.
This is guaranteed to be as stated in this auction and shown in the scan.
No reserve, just going to the highest bidder–
