Once collectors get their hands on these ultra high grade books, they will be amazed by the vivid deep colors on the covers and the white interior pages. When we first held these books, it became clear that this is what silver age marvels looked like the day they hit the newsstand. A young man bought everyone of these stunning comics from the same newsstand from 14 years old to 35 years old any read them once carefully and placed them inside plastic in groups of 10 and wrapped them tight. We had the honor of being the ones to open them this year. These early Marvels have not seen the light of day for almost 50 years. Unlike some of the other great Silver Age pedigree collections, the Saginaw collection will be offered on EBAY exclusively with No Reserve.

Regardless, this is a rare chance to get an original owner highest graded copy of this Key issue. Sub-Mariner appearance. Stan Lee story. Jack Kirby and George Roussos cover and art. Tales of Suspense #39 CGC 9.2 1st Iron Man ow/white pages

When going through eBay for this post, the top lots were dominated by books from the saginaw collection. This one will be the top lot and will break into the all time ebay comic sales list.

Journey Into Mystery #89 CGC 9.4 OW/White Origin Thor Classic Cover

Classic cover, indeed. I haven't bought any JIM books in a long time, but whenever I see this I feel like I should reverse that trend.

Highlights from the Latest Heritage Signature Auction Part 1

Twin Cities Books

The Atom #3 Twin Cities pedigree (DC, 1962) CGC NM 9.4

If you've read any of these you know of my affinity for green covers.

Wonder Woman #178 Twin Cities pedigree (DC, 1968) CGC NM+ 9.6

Green psychedelic covers? Where do those sit on my personal scale? Pretty damn high.

The Avengers #57 Twin Cities pedigree (Marvel, 1968) CGC NM/MT 9.8

I'm cool with this book. It's got a lot going for it. The Vision is a cool character (he's one of "my" Avengers,) the Spectre homage is cool and who doesn't love the Avengers?

Batman #200 Twin Cities pedigree (DC, 1968) CGC NM/MT 9.8

This is a dopey cover AND I LOVE IT.

Batman #227 Twin Cities pedigree (DC, 1970) CGC NM/MT 9.8

This is the complete opposite of a dopey cover. CLEARLY.

Silver Age

Action Comics #252 (DC, 1959) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Cream to off-white pages

A fun book to me.

Adventure Comics #247 (DC, 1958) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages

I want this to be a hot book. I don't know why.

The Amazing Spider-Man #28 (Marvel, 1965) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white pages

What's the value here? We saw $15,000 for Pacific Coast 3-4 years ago. This book boggles my (non-Spider-Man collecting) mind.

The Amazing Spider-Man #50 (Marvel, 1967) CGC NM/MT 9.8 White pages

Here's a Spider-man book I'd actually want to own although at the price this will get, I'm not sure I'd want to pony up for this one.

Detective Comics #327 (DC, 1964) CGC NM/MT 9.8 White pages

Look at this thing:

The Flash #105 (DC, 1959) CGC NM 9.4

I don't know why I've never actively collected Flash books. I've always been focusing on something else I guess. Great book.

Showcase #4 The Flash – Bethlehem pedigree (DC, 1956) CGC VF/NM 9.0

There it is, one of my favorite books ever.

Stay tuned, hopefully I'll find time for Part 2 and 3 before this auction goes off.
