Also at Heritage: The Silver Age Edition (Hulk #1, Green Lantern #1)

The following are two Silver Age books that I absolutely love.

Green Lantern #1 (DC, 1960) CGC NM 9.4

Green Lantern's recent meteoric rise bums me out. I was buying some Green Lanterns, and then, along came the movie blowing prices up on the really good stuff. Case in point, this book. This exact copy sold for 18,975.00 at Heritage in 2003. Recently, a 9.2 of this book sold for $30,450.00. What does that result mean for this 9.4? Hopefully some crazy number north of $50k.

The Top 10 Most Valuable CGC Graded Comics Books

Oh, look, another list. This one is based off of a Google search I saw, so there's at least one person out there wondering what the most valuable slabbed books are. As always, I want to hear feedback on these books. Is there anything I missed? How would you rank them? Please feel free to share in the comments.

Heritage November 2009 Auction- 12 Lots of Note.

I went through the catalog yesterday. I limited myself to picking twelve lots of interest to share with you guys. It was tough because this is an auction full of some interesting material. The Joe Kubert lots themselves could have produced a decent set of 12 items to ogle.

hulk1-cgc-9.2

The Incredible Hulk #1 (Marvel, 1962) CGC NM- 9.2

This is clearly the book of the auction. I don't get excited easily by Silver Age marvels, but this book brings a smile to my face. It's tough to find in high grade and it's the HULK.

Hulk smash!

As of this writing it sits at $45,000. Still plenty of room for a thrill bid, I think.
