Tales of Suspense #39 CGC 9.2 1st Iron Man ow/white pages

When going through eBay for this post, the top lots were dominated by books from the saginaw collection. This one will be the top lot and will break into the all time ebay comic sales list.

Journey Into Mystery #89 CGC 9.4 OW/White Origin Thor Classic Cover

Classic cover, indeed. I haven't bought any JIM books in a long time, but whenever I see this I feel like I should reverse that trend.

Five for Friday (Byrne X-Men, Phil Noto, Action 85, Swamp Thing 28 Art, Sandman 21 Art)

Well, how about that? A very cool page for an X-Men fan in general and… it's Byrne!

Phil Noto Superman Lois Lane Heroes Con 2006 Painting

Crummy photo, but knowing Noto that thing must shine in person.

Action Comics #85 CGC 9.2 Universal Grade June 1945

Want listed! What great cover dialog.

Swamp Thing #28 Alan Moore & McManus. GREAT!

What a bad-ass page this is. It's a great image of Swamp thing and it's penned by Moore.

ORIGINAL ART Neil Gaiman/Mike Dringenberg SANDMAN 1990

Sandman took about a year to take off. After that first year the buzz was basically deafening. At this point the book had found its voice and the arc format that would take it through to the end of the run. Classic stuff.

Five for Friday (Gene Colan, Jimmy Cheung, Amazing Man #5, Strange Adventures #1, Mignola BPRD)

Jimmy Cheung – New Avengers #42 pg 15 FULL PAGE SPLASH

That's a ridiculous splash page right there. Jimmy Cheung is great and everything he's got is going into that splash.

AMAZING MAN #5 "1939". PGX 8.0 (R) NICE! Noted as RARE.

Cool, book. Someone buy it and get it out of that PGX holder.

STRANGE ADVENTURES #1 1950 Photo Cvr Atomic Bomb O/W

I'm a sucker for this book. You know this.

What a great page. From near the end of Colan's run on the book this page still shows everything Colan could bring to a page. What a great talent.

BPRD 1946 HELLBOY Original Cover Art by Mike Mignola

I'm always going to post a nice Mignola page. I'm a sucker for his work.
