AMAZING FANTASY #15 (MARVEL) – AUGUST 1962 – CGC 7.5
Already at nearly $30,000 with 4 days to go. That puts it at #23 with plenty of room to climb. 50-60k would put it solidly in the top 10.
Of course, it's an Amazing Fantasy 15, which means I'm nodding off writing this, but it's still interesting whenever anything cracks into that top 25 list.
What's cool out there? Here's a quick scan. What am I missing?

I'm a fan of the Hero Initiative and thumbs up to CGC for providing the free Signature Series:
Todd McDevitt and New Dimension Comics are proving that *they’re* a Hero.
When Pittsburgh-area comic retailer Todd McDevitt recently purchased a major Marvel Silver Age collection, he decided to sell the books and make a difference at the same time. McDevitt donated 50 of the books to the Hero Initiative. Stan Lee and CGC compounded the good deed, with Stan autographing all 50 books, which CGC graded in their prestigious Signature Series for free. Now, the 50 Stan-signed Silver Age Marvels are being auctioned via eBay, 10 per week for the next five weeks. Auctions start August 17, and can be viewed on eBay.
“My hat's off to Titanic Todd McDevitt for the great generosity he has show towards comicdom's time-honored Hero Initiative!,” said Stan Lee. “The comics he has donated are worth a bundle—and so is big-hearted Todd!"
“CGC is thrilled to help collectors and creators come together to support the fantastic Hero Initiative cause,” said CGC Vice-President Paul Litch. “Any way we can help raise money to give back to those that have given us so much is an honor indeed. Bid early and bid often!”
Visit our website at www.heroinitiative.com or find us on eBay to follow the auctions.

It looks like we're safe from robojo33 next week. We'll have several big ticket candidates for next week's top eBay item post…
SUPERMAN COMIC 1 GOLDEN AGE DC CGC 2.0 ORIGINAL 1939
I mean, at first glance it looks real (and that's all I've given it), but… who the hell sells a book like that through an outlet that barely seems to know what it's selling? So strange.
Neat Stuff, even.
It won't win the race for the week, but that's still a fun book (for me at least.)
*sigh*
TALES OF SUSPENSE #39 NM- 9.2 *1ST IRON MAN APPEARANCE*
Winning bid: US $16,999.00 Seller: robojo33 ( 1563 )
This listing is for a Tales of Suspense #39 in rare NM- condition with off-white pages.
It's the original 1963 Marvel newsstand issue, not a reprint or special edition.
The comic is clean, complete, and has no tape, repairs, or restoration of any kind.
And the book:

The memory of Mike Wieringo and the welfare of cats and kittens.
ORIGINAL WALT SIMONSON ART FEATURING MARVEL THOR
ORIGINAL WALT SIMONSON ART FEATURING LOKI THORs Brother
bid now….
Common. Yes. Hoarded. I can guarantee it. All that said, I still like the book.
BWS + Batman. All I need to know. It's a cool piece.

Not the best listing, but Paul Pope is the stuff, so who cares? Not me. Killer series from a killer artist.
I just like the cover.

While I'm here, I'd be remiss if I didn't point out I'm selling a ton of cool stuff this week on eBay myself. Check it out.
