This is a pretty memorable cover. Great design work.
Wrightson turned into a "batman" guy at some point. I wish he'd drawn the character regularly in the 1970s. That would have been a magical combination for collectors.

Feast your eyes on an unrestored Batman #1. Even with the rusty staple, that's an appealing option for a lot of people.
While Year 2 is no Year 1, I do have a soft-spot for the work McFarlane did on this series.
And the flood of Miller art begins? Might be time to finally take the plunge and buy something from Daredevil.

You thought I was going to start somewhere else? I don't care what anyone else thinks… To me this page is the best piece of comic art from the 1980s I've ever seen for sale and is one of the best possible pages from the entire decade. Simply amazing.

Classic Hypodermic Needle Cover
Classic Batman with Gun Splash PanelGrade: Very Low Grade. 100% original and complete. Pages are cream to off-white. Covers are detached and split. First wrap was detached but reattached with a minor amount of glue at the staple area. Other than the minor glue mentioned reattaching the first wrap there is NO other "restoration." Overall the comic has general wear. Back cover has 1 moderate size piece missing on the back right cover near the spine area that goes down a good length of the spine. Best way to describe it is the "yellow left margin" at the very right most portion of the comic is missing a piece that is smaller width wise but longer length size that goes about a few spaces past half way on the back (from the top to 2/3's down)
The Book:
I always link to these. I guess I'm a fan.
While Sam Kieth never looked like "Sam Kieth" on Sandman, Kelly Jones sure as hell (har) did. This is a very memorable page from him during a classic arc on one of the biggest books of all-time.
Nearly $2500 with 8 days to go. I wonder if it's got a chance for $3k (high GPA for this book.)
Adi Granov is great. He's like one of the European greats in style, but he's doing American Super Hero comics. I'll take it.
Not your average eBay book.
Killer image. Just fantastic. Take a look at it up there. Well worth whatever price it sells for, if you ask me.

I think Bianchi is great, so I figured I ought to share.
To me, this is the era you want for George Perez. This is when I remember him being at his best. He's remained really good, of course, but his work in the early to mid 1980s was so damn "big."
I will never tire of this book.
